Vegetarian restaurant design & build

A vegetarian restaurant sells stillness — diners come for calm, so space, light and even scent must be engineered as carefully as any technical package. AIC delivers design and build through a single point of contact.

What makes it different

Vegetarian restaurant design & build — get it right from design

A vegetarian restaurant looks gentle but is hard in its subtlety: one harsh light, one corner smelling of cooking oil, or one off-key industrial material breaks the serenity diners came for. The hidden layer — odour-controlling ventilation, natural material selection, greenery and acoustic softening — is what actually keeps the space at peace.

Done right

The items that decide quality

Serene space & soft lighting

Warm light with good colour rendering, avoiding harsh white fixtures and direct glare. An airy layout with room to breathe, so diners feel stillness rather than noise and crowding.

Natural materials

Priority on timber, bamboo, rattan, stone, raw render and hand-trowelled walls — humble materials that feel warm to the touch. Glossy plastics, cold metals and industrial surfaces are held back to preserve the closeness to nature.

Odour-separated kitchen

The kitchen and wok zone sit apart, fully enclosed with extraction strong enough to keep oil and cooking smells out of the dining room — keeping the air clean and true to the restaurant's gentle spirit.

Ventilation & gentle odour control

Ventilation calculated so the air is continuously refreshed without uncomfortable draughts. Supply and extract are balanced, with odour control for the washrooms and kitchen, so the whole venue keeps a pleasant scent.

Greenery & mini landscapes

Plants, small landscape features, skylights and planted walls are designed in from the start, with lighting, irrigation and drainage so everything thrives — the signature touches behind the venue's sense of calm.

Sound & acoustic softening

Sound-absorbing materials, curtains, rugs and gently placed background music control echo and keep the space quiet. A beautiful vegetarian restaurant that is noisy still fails to relax its guests.

Frequently asked questions

Vegetarian restaurant design & build

How does a vegetarian restaurant differ from a regular one?

It trades on serenity, so the differences are experiential: soft light, natural materials, greenery and acoustic softening to keep things quiet — and above all a kitchen that keeps cooking smells fully out of the dining room. All of it has to be planned from the design stage.

How do you keep kitchen smells out of the dining area?

By separating and enclosing the kitchen and wok zone, with extraction hoods and fans of sufficient capacity and a balanced fresh-air supply. AIC engineers this ventilation from the drawings, so the dining air stays clean with no trace of oil.

How much does a vegetarian restaurant fit-out cost?

Cost depends on floor area, the level of natural-material finishes, the scale of the greenery and the kitchen package. AIC takes off quantities and prepares a detailed BOQ in about 4 hours from the floor plan, so you have realistic numbers before committing.
